Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale says he is ready to write and produce a song for the ‘One Corner’ hitmaker, Patapaa Amisty.
The ‘One Corner’ song gained immense international recognition on social media after it was released at last year’s Swedru Akwambo festival in the Central Region of Ghana.
The viral hip-life-azonto song is accompanied with a weird dance that gets patrons dancing in secluded places such as gutters, under cars among other corners dancers may deem appropriate.
It is with this that Shatta Wale said ‘I don’t underrate people. I will write a song for him. I will dash it to him.’
Asked why he wants to gift the Swedru-based artiste a song, the ‘Ayoo’ hit maker said “I believe he brought something, he brought another genre in music that Ghanaians need to follow.”
Shatta Wale added: “It doesn’t matter where he comes from, now he is playing shows in Nigeria. Where are the so called rappers?,” he queried.
According to the ‘Pray For Me’ song maker he believes Patapaa’s ‘One Corner’ song going international is the hand work of God.
‘He really pushed me to work hard than any artiste last year. His song was in Congo, America, Nigeria among others and that is God’s work and favour. How can one song be in every country? Let’s be real, God is teaching us something, let us learn it…” Shatta said on Zylofon FM.
