ALL YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT FELLA MAKAFUI

Fella Makafui, 23, is a Ghanaian actress and a philanthropist. Fella had always wanted to be in the entertainment industry and started nursing that dream right in secondary school. She attended the Kpando Senior High School, where she did General Arts as a course and was the Entertainment prefect because of her love for entertainment.

She was born and raised in Anfoega Akukome in the Volta Region. Before her fame, Fella Makafui was a model and a nudist

She then attended the University of Ghana but reports according to Asembi.com says she dropped out of the school because she was unable to focus on her academics because of acting.

Fella Makafui became a household name when she was featured in the popular TV series YOLO (You Only Live Once). She played the role as Serwaa, a naive village girl who had come to the city to sell bread to make ends meet. She spoke bad grammar as Serwaa and it caught on with many people. Her relationship with one of the lead characters, Drogba also made lots of people develop an interest in her.

After YOLO, she has featured in a couple of movies as well, popular among them is Kada River. She was also featured in a movie titled ‘Once Upon A Family’ in which Nigerian Actress Mercy Johnson played the lead role in. 

Fella Makafui’s Awards As An Actress

Fella Makafui won her first award as an actress at the City People Entertainment Awards 2016 as the Most Promising actress in Ghana. That same year, she won her second award as the Most Promising Actress again at the 2016 Golden Movie Awards.

She also won the third award that same year but it’s skipped as at the time of publication. Earlier this year in May, Fella Makafui was honored by law students union of the Kings University  College at their awards and dinner night for being a great actress and a philanthropist.

Fella Makafui’s Endorsement Deals

Fella Makafui has three endorsement deals. She was signed first by a Sanitary pad company called airee pads in February as their brand ambassador.

Then in May 2018, she won another endorsement deal with Davies Palace and Spa. Then in June, Fella Makafui was signed by Kasapreko to be the brand ambassador for their Carnival Strawberry drink under the Kasapreko brand. It was reported that she got some Ghc100,000 plus from this deal.

Fella Makafui’s Donations and Philanthropic Works.

It’s no doubt that Fella Makafui is a generous person. She loves to give back to society, and that’s one of the many reasons why we love her. She has a foundation and her foundation donated several items ranging from food to toiletries to the Accra Psychiatric Hospital

Fella Makafui also donated bags of cement to her hometown for the renovation of a community center there. She also made some donations to the widows there and spent quality time with them.

When Ghone TV was looking for people to help buy school desks for pupils of Yikurugu School, who had to lie on the floor to write, Fella Makafui was there for the kids. She donated 20 desks and 400 exercise books, and other stationery to the school as she was touched by the plight of the pupils.

Fella Makafui and her foundation in March 2018 decided to give gifts to hawkers on the streets and hang out with these hawkers to give them some happiness. –-Don’t you just love Fella?

Fella Makafui’s Cars, Businesses 

Fella Makafui was known to be driving a Picanto back in 2016 when she was acting in YOLO then months later, she changed it to a Chevy Cruze.

Earlier this year, when she had her ‘beef’ with Efia Odo, she flaunted some cars on Social media. From her posts, it seems to suggest she owns a Hyundai Elantra, a Toyota Land Cruiser and a BMW SUV. She had even asked her fans to help her select which one to drive as she was finding it hard to make a decision.

The known business of Fella Makafui is her Wine Shop which was located at East Legon inside the popular American House building. We knew it as hers until, reports came that her ‘sponsor’ had closed it down because he was not getting attention any longer from Fella Makafui. Her manager reacted to the reports that she was only changing locations.

The actress has also indicated that she’s setting up a new business ‘Beauty By Fella’ which would be launched on 30th June.

Rumours And Controversies Surrounding Fella Makafui

Fella Makafui has a beautiful chocolate skin color and a very famous  ‘Tundra’ we mean botos and she loves to flaunt it every now and then on Social media.

It was rumoured that she was dating Tinny the musician before she became the popular Fella Makafui.  Her former friend, Efia Odo accused her of sleeping with big men in exchange for favours and that became a Social media trend for weeks in the country.

It was also rumored that she’s been chopping the Zylofon Media boss Nana Appiah Mensah but the CEO of the 360 Entertainment company debunked the rumour saying, he does not even like ‘waakye’ girls.

There are also rumours that she was dating Sister Debbie’s boyfriend and musician Medikal and gossips have said they have seen her in Medikal’s house a couple of times but Medikal debunked the rumours, saying he sees Fella as a sister. He featured her in one of his music videos.

Fella Makafui also pissed off a lot of girls when she posted on Social media that, its high time young girls start working hard to earn something for themselves than being lazy and always waiting on Mobile money from guys as men did not like girls who are always asking for Mobile money.

At the time of this post, the biggest scandal that hit Fella Makafui was when a video was circulated on Social media that her sex tape had been leaked by her former boyfriend after he had closed down the wine business he opened for her.
